Pili Vergara, Lena Gibert, and Marta Mazur are the creators and directors of UMA.

They met while training at drama school in London, where their shared foundation in performance continues to shape their approach to storytelling. Alongside their work as actors, they expanded their practice across writing, directing, and producing, developing a collaborative approach that brings together performance, visual language, and production.

Their work spans film, television, and commercial projects, developed in collaboration with international production companies, creatives, and industry partners.

Across their projects, they lead large scale teams while maintaining a clear and unified creative vision.

They are drawn to stories that move across languages and audiences while remaining emotionally resonant and visually distinct.
